In my time I have noticed conflict has a significant impact on many individuals in our society. Conflicts definition is to have a serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one. Sometimes people are drawn pinto conflict with no fault of there own, for example in the sorry Romeo and Juliet were both drawn into conflict, this was because they were both brought up in families that hated each other, Romeo and Juliet is a prime example that there now can be winners when there is conflict.
The idea “Sometimes people are drawn into conflict through no fault of their own” is also seen in the movie The Hunger Games, when the the two characters, Katniss and Peeta get forced into the Hunger Games from district 12. It’s a televised fight to the death in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to compete. There can only be one winner and only the winner survives this battle, they have to take care of them selves and to do that, they have to find their own water, food and place to sleep. Her tribe member Peta and herself never got along, they didn’t know each other that well. They didn’t want to get to know each other, because if it came down to them it would be to hard to have to kill one or another to survive. Secretly Peeta had a huge crush on Katniss. They started to form and close bond. They hunted, killed, found food together, and when another was injured, they would try and find medicine to prevent it from getting infected or just getting worse. Peeta and Katniss were the last two left standing in the end, they didn’t want to do it, they couldn’t; so instead of killing each other they both came down to an agreement to die together. They did this because they couldn’t kill the one they love, which was each other. The president couldn’t allow this, so he, himself came to a decision that they will both survive and win, it’s still unknown to why he made this choice, but he did.
